Advanced Waxing

The Beauty Industry is expanding at such a rapid rate, One of the main areas of expansion in recent years is Advanced Waxing/ Specialist Waxing due to the increase in demand for quality Waxing Treatments.
This course is aimed at qualified beauticians who are already confident as waxing therapists. It will equip them with skills and knowledge to carry out Californian, Brazilian and Hollywood waxing treatments competently.

      On this professional course you will learn,

• Waxes used & application
• Contra-indications to advanced specialized waxing
• Procedure
• Aftercare advice
• Maintenance etc
• Contra-actions that may occur.

Uniform must be worn on the day.

Equipment needed: pen, paper, 1x towel, scissors, tweezers, tissues & cotton wool

You must carry out 2 full advanced waxing treatment on your training day; students will work on each other for the first treatment and a model is required at 2pm on the day of training. All models must be patch tested at Pembroke College 24-48 hrs before the treatment.

All product required for the course will be provided. Main Products used are M.A.C. Benefit,Lancome,Make up Forever. However students may wish to bring their own makeup to compare and contrast.
